The General Purpose
Modem is used in conjunction with other AGM and
manufacturers products. The following summarizes
the various model numbers that are available.

contact our Domain Engineering staff if you are
unsure of how to describe the control and
interface requirements for your application. Or
e-mail or fax us a block diagram of what you
need and we promptly provide you a Hardware
Overview, Knowledge Maps and Proposal. We will
also work with you to develop OEM products.
Following are
examples of General Purpose Modem orders:
1. TA
5315-2, to be used with existing system to add
auto-dialing functions. Reference PRO#
nnnnnn-nnnn.
2. TA
5315-1, to be used with new system as a radio
connection interface between an Integrated
Control Station and 6 remote sites. Reference
PRO# nnnnnn-nnnn.
3. TA
5315-1, to be used to interface a PC LAN based
system to my existing AGM Monitoring and Control
System. Reference PRO# nnnnnn-nnnn. Note: Be
sure to include your name and a contact number
in case we have any questions regarding your
order.
As leased dedicated phone lines are
becoming more difficult to acquire, AGM customers are switching to
wireless data communications using AGM's Data Handlers (DH) and Spread
Spectrum Radios (SSR).
The Data Handler, when combined with your existing
pager system, provides a convenient, low cost way to detect and
broadcast remote site alarms such as a pump failure or unauthorized
intrusion.
