DLS7 – Leased Line/Dial-Up 2 Channel Supervisory Pump Control and Data Acquisition

Description –

The Data Controller (DC) at the local site accepts a 4/20 mADC tank level signal and compares it to internal turn on and turn off setpoints. The DC, in turn, transmits pump on and off commands to the remote site DC via the leased line/dial-up modems. The remote DC converts those commands to contact outputs for operating the motor starters. The remote site DC accepts two 4/20 mADC pump flow signals and two pump running contacts and transmits them to the local site and converts them back to 4/20 mADC and contact closures for local display and recording. The local site DC closes a contact in the event there is a communications failure.

"Wireless TransCeiver (WTC)"

"Telephone Lines are for the Birds"

As leased dedicated phone lines are becoming more difficult to acquire, AGM customers are switching to wireless data communications using AGM's Data Handlers (DH) and Spread Spectrum Radios (SSR).

"Beep Alert"

The Data Handler, when combined with your existing  pager system, provides a convenient, low cost way to detect and broadcast remote site alarms such as a pump failure or unauthorized intrusion.

"AWT"

Erratic flow signals can result in unnecessary wear and tear on chemical feed equipment.

Use the Data Handler application, "Average with Time", to smooth the signal.
