Description –
The Controller compares the 4/20mADC Level
signal to an adjustable on and off setpoint. The
Controller contact closure output connects to
the Supervisory Transmitter which is connected
to a dry wire pair. The Supervisory Transmitter
transmits the signal to the Supervisory
Receiver. The Supervisory Receiver receives and
converts the signal to a dry contact closure
which is used to operate a pump starter.
The
Supervisory Receiver accepts a pump running
contact and transmits it back to the Supervisory
Transmitter. The Supervisory Transmitter
provides a contact output that is used to
operate Pump Status indicators. This application
is used to maintain a level in a tank. Also, the
Supervisory Transmitter will turn both Pump
Status indicators on in the event there is a
communication fault.
