Description –
The Pulse Duration Transmitter converts a 4/20
mADC signal to a periodic time modulated
pulse width contact closure that is connected to
a dry wire pair. A Pulse Duration Receiver is
connected to the other end of the dry wire pair. It
detects the time modulated contact closure and
converts it back to a 4/20mADC signal.
The 4/20
mADC signal may be connected to a local display,
chart recorder or PLC.
The 4/20 mADC is also
connected to the Intergator which converts the
4/20mADC to a proportional contact closure pulse
rate which may be used to drive a totalizer,
pulse a chemical feeder or
be connected to a PLC.
